90 Dias Para Casar - 90 Day Fiancé

Vortei meu povo e minha pova :) Vou confessar para vocês que eu fico uns dias sem postar para que vocês fiquem morrendo de saudades de mim e podem dizer que funciona, pode falar, vai la, eu aguento... kkkkkk' <3 Hoje vou falar de um assunto muito, mas muito pedido por vocês, o 90 Dias Para Casar do TLC. Eu não vou contar sobre a experiência dos outros casais, até porque eu não os conheço pessoalmente para poder falar, então isso será apenas sobre Alan e euzinha :D Vai ser grande, porque serão detalhes que o programa não chegou a mostrar! Então aperta o cinto, pega uma garrafinha d'água uns biscoitinho e vamos la ;) :D -------------- I'm back guys :) Today I'll talk our vision from the show 90 Day Fiancé, what the show didn't show and some details too :) It's gonna be a little big, because it's so much things to say hahaha' So, let's go?

Nossa História - Our Story Alan e eu nos conhecemos quando ele foi servir missão da igreja no Brasil, mas ambos nunca nem chegamos a cogitar a possibilidade de algum tipo de envolvimento naquela epoca alem de amigos. Mantivemos algum contato por email, mas foi tudo muito limitado. Alguns anos depois ele entrou em contato comigo pelo facebook dizendo que estava voltando para o Brasil para ser padrinho de casamento de um outro casal de amigos (Obrigada Raquel e Marcelo kk' <3 ) que ele conheceu na missão. A partir daí nosso contato almentou e passamos a nos falar todos os dias pelo skype/facebook, porque o Portugues dele estava meio enferrujado e também porque desenvolvemos uma amizade muito bacana enquando ele estava no Brasil. Ele então voltou e passamos alguns momentos juntos no qual nos mostrou que nossas conversas nos trouxeram sentimentos que não estavamos preparados para perceber, até o devido momento. Ele voltou para casa e então eu muito discreta perguntei, como ele se referia a mim quando conversava com os pais dele (hauhasuhash), ele contou que se referia a mim como 'minha namorada' (aquilo foi como música para meus ouvidos kkkk') foi quando começamos a namorar! O skype virou nosso melhor amigo *-* Foram meses de muita, mas MUITA conversa, nos conhecendo mais a fundo e cada vez nos apaixonando mais. Ele voltou para me ver e ali já sabiamos o que queriamos: Passar essa vida e a eternidade juntos! Sabiamos que viver no USA seria mais facil por questões economicas, e Alan ja tinha uma vida construida aqui, eu estava apenas começando a minha. A decisão mais logica então, era eu mudar de país. Quando ele voltou para casa novamente, ele aplicou para o meu visto o K1 ( http://www.whatsupkirlyam.com/#!Meus-Visto-My-Visa/c1kw6/6B6E7750-7786-48A5-87B5-95898F809134 ) e então começou a nossa espera, o que parecia ser infinita. Enquanto esperavamos o visto, preparavamos o casamento, escolhiamos a cor, as flores e tudo mais que um casamento precisa. Namoramos por 1 ano e 7 meses com 10 meses de noivado. Foi nesse meio tempo que o pessoal do TLC entrou em contato com Alan através do site Visa Journey (um site que aplicantes do visto K1 usam para trocar informações sobre diversos assuntos relacionado a esse assunto). Alan comentou comigo sobre o email e o que eu achava... Eu achei meio estranho e não acreditei que era verdade kkk' Foi então que meu paizinho, sofreu um acidente muito serio de moto... Ele sofreu um traumatismo craniano gravissimo. Meu pai sofre acidente numa segunda-feira, e a noticia que meu visto teria sido aprovado chegou na terça, depois de 11 meses de uma espera infinita logo naquele momento meu visto foi aprovado. Meu pai ficou internado por 3 meses, ele voltou para casa em uma semana, e na outra eu estava vindo morar aqui. Alan e eu precisariamos de dinheiro para terminar de bancar o casamento e ajudar minha familia no Brasil. Foi então, que finalmente aceitamos participar do programa. --------------

I first met Alan when he was serving a church mission in Brazil. At that time even thinking of being in a relationship with him was the furthest thing possible from both our minds. After his mission we maintained some contact via email, but everything was very limited. And there was actually a period of about 4 years where we lost all contact… But then he contacted me through Facebook saying he was returning to Brazil to be the best man for another couple’s wedding (Thanks Rachel and Marcelo haha '<3). From there our contact grew and we talked almost every day by Skype/Facebook because his Portuguese had become a little rusty so it was good practice for him and also because we had developed a very nice friendship. He then came to Brazil for the wedding and while he was here we spent a few days together. Our time together showed us that we had feelings for one another and that we were not prepared to understand, until the proper time. We had a wonderful time together but he had to go home. And honestly I thought that that was the end of it and that I would never seem him again.. L But as soon as he landed he called me on Skype and said that he missed me!!!! After about a month went by and during this time I was talking to him every day. And then on Feb 14 he made me the cutest video wishing me a happy Valentines Day. And he told me that the day before he was talking to his parents and he naturally referred to me as his girlfriend (that was like music to my ears hahaha') that when we started dating officially! Skype became our best friend *-* There were a lot of months, but LOTS of conversation, getting to know him better and on a deeper level and each time falling more in love. He came to see me in June for my birthday!! I fell deeper and deeper in love with him. But then he left again… And returned in Oct. We already knew what we wanted, to spend this life and eternity together! We knew that living in the USA would be easier for economic issues, and Alan had already built a life here, I was just starting my. The most logical decision then I was moving country’s.

When he went home again, he applied for my visa K1 ( http://www.whatsupkirlyam.com/#!Meus-Seen-My-Visa/c1kw6/6B6E7750-7786-48A5-87B5-95898F809134 ) and then began our wait, what seemed to be endless. While waiting the visa, we tried to prepare the wedding. We chose the color, the flowers and everything that we could. We dated for 1 year and 7 months and 10 months of that we were engaged. In the meantime that the staff of TLC contacted Alan via Visa Journey site (a site that K1 visa applicants use to exchange information on various topics related to this subject).

Alan commented to me on the email and what I thought ... I thought it was weird and did not believe it was true haha

It was then that my dad suffered a very serious motorcycle accident ... He suffered a serious head injury.

The accident was on a Monday, and the news that my visa had been approved came a day later, after 11 months of waiting. We postponed the wedding so I could be with my family during this hard time. My father was hospitalized for three months, he returned a week before I was coming to live here.

Alan and I thought we could use what we would earn to help with wedding stuff and help my family in Brazil. It was then that we finally accept to participate in the program.

O Programa - For those who have never seen the show "90 Dias Para Casar é um "Reality Show" no qual mostra casais com um visto de casamento internacional o K1, no que devem decidir no prazo de 90 dias, se eles querem se casar ou não." Quando botei os pés no aeroporto de LA, pareceu que estava em outra dimensão kk' Um monte de gente falando e eu não entendendo nada, meu corpo estava aqui, mas meus pensamentos estava com minha familia no Brasil. Alan vendo como eu estava, fazia de tudo para que eu me sentisse bem *-*A partir daí (sim, a partir do momento em que chegamos no eroporto eles começaram a gravar), pelos proximos 3 meses, as minhas companhias foram a produção do 90 Day Fiance que envolvia umas 12 pessoas se nao me engano, meu marido, que na epoca era noivo e minha familia pelo skype kkk' As gravações ocorriam quase o dia todo, geralmente das 8 ou 9 da manha ate 11 ou meia noite. Ajudou demais com o meu ingles, pq eu era obrigada a falar (ou pelo menos tentar kkkkk') se quisesse me comunicar. Alan e eu no final do dia so queriamos ir dormir kkk'. Fomos para restaurantes incriveis, Hollywood (que eu não gostei de jeito nenhum), e tantas coisas que eu custava acreditar que era de verdade. Se você que está aqui comigo lendo isso, realmente acredita 100% em um programa de Tv, me desculpe falar, mas você não esta preparado (a) para a vida kkkkkk' Televisão manipula as coisas para que tudo fiquei mais interessante, para que as pessoas se interessem a assistir. Eu não digo apenas de Reality Show, mas de tudo! Jornais, programas de auditorio e tudo mais que isso envolve. Agora vem as confissões kkk' Cabe a você escolher no qual quer acreditar :) - Alan não é ciumento, EU sou a louca ciumenta da história kkk' - Ser modelo nunca foi meu GRANDE sonho. É claro que se surgir uma oportunidade é claro que vou fazer, Alan me apoiou e me apoia nas minhas decisões. - Alan não disse que GOIANIA É ROÇA, vocês acham mesmo que o meu futuro marido na época iria dizer tantas coisas ruins da minha cidade em rede mundial na minha frente? Ele não é doido :P kkkkkkkkkkkk' - Sim, nós nos guardamos até nosso casamento, não tivemos relações intimas até a lua de mel - Os pais do Alan, sāo uns amores comigo, me tratam como uma filha e estāo sempre ao nosso lado - Quando eu cheguei aqui, eu mal sabia como pedir água, então aquela cena da gente no mercado e ele me mostrando o que era eu REALMENTE não tinha como adivinhar que era um molho de tomate pronto e feijões enlatados. Primeiro porque eu nunca vi ambos pessoalmente e segundo porque eu não lia em Inglês. Para finalizar, um desabafo kk' Com o programa eu aprendi quão rapido o ser humano é para julgar o outro! As pessoas nos viam por 10/12 mints por episodio e já achavam que nos conheciam e saiam falando coisas que nunca imaginamos ouvir. Isso foi uma grande lição para mim pessoalmente, aprendi a pensar 2, 3, 4 vezes antes de falar de alguem. Eita que hoje o texto ficou grande kkkk' Desculpem, mas como meus vizinhos não estão nos deixando gravar videos, o jeito é escrever!!! "90 Day Fiancé” is a "Reality Show"show in which couples with a marriage visa international K1, as must decide within 90 days whether or not they want to marry."

When I set foot in the LA airport, it seemed that I was in another dimension haha. A lot of people talking and I do not understand anything, my body was here but my thoughts were with my family in Brazil. Alan seeing me as I was, did everything he could to make me feel good *-* From there (yes, from the moment we arrived in airport they started filming), the next three months, it was nothing but the production team of about 12 people if im not mistaken, my husband and my family by skype haha '

The recordings happened in clusters of 3-4 days straight, usually from 8 or 9 am until 11 or midnight. It helped tremendously with my English, because I was forced to speak (or at least try hahaha') if I wanted to communicate. Alan and I at the end of filming days we wanted to go to sleep the second they left hahah . We went to incredible restaurants, saw incredible places like Hollywood (which honestly I did not like that much). We filmed everywhere in L.A.! It was fun but tiresome at the same time. As we were shooting we didn’t really know what scenes they would end up using or not using…

But if you’re reading this and you truly believe 100% of any reality tv show is actually reality, I'm sorry to say, but you're not prepared for life hahahahaha'… TV in general manipulates and skews things so that everything can more interesting. I don’t mean just Reality Shows, but everything! Newspapers, movies, autobiographies and everything that it involves.

Now comes the here comes the confessions. It's up to you to choose where you want to believe :)

- Alan is not jealous at all, I'm the crazy jealous one!! haha

- Modeling was never my BIG dream. Of course, if an opportunity arises I'll do it. Alan supported me and supports me in my decisions.

- Alan didn’t said that Goiania is farm, you really think my future husband would say so many bad things about my city, in front of me? He is not crazy :P HAHAHAHAHAHA '

- Yes, we both waited until marriage.

- Alan's parents loves me, treat me like a daughter and are always by our side.

- When I came here, I hardly knew how to ask for water, so that scene of people in the market and he was showing me what I REALLY could not guess it was a tomato sauce ready and canned beans. First because I have never seen both personally and second because I did not read in English.

Finally, it was nice to vent haha

With the program I learned how fast a human beings are to judge another! People saw us for 10/12 mints per episode and already thought they knew us and leave talking about things that we never imagined hearing. That was a great lesson for me personally; I learned to think two, three, four times before speaking to anyone.
