No post de hoje farei 3 resenhas de livros que li esse ano. Tinha a intenCao de fazer de todos, entretando, o post ficaria imenso. Entao, farei mais posts como esse para compartilhar todos eles com voces. Espero que gostem e tambem me digam nos comentarios quais foram os livros que ja’ leram esse ano. My intention was to do all the books but the post would be huge. I decided to write more posts like this one to share with you my taste for books. Has she done more harm than good?” Opiniao: O livro parece um quebra-cabeças que as peças foram arrastadas pelo vento e que pouco a pouco estão se reunindo. A maneira que a autora mostrar para os seus leitores isso foi mudando o ponto de vista da narrativa entre três mulheres: a Rachel, a Megan e a Anna. A princípio não entendemos muito bem o que ela quer dizer reunindo os pontos de vista de mulheres tão diferentes, mas logo que as peças começam a se encaixar, tudo parece muito bem colocado. Dentro dessas transiCao de narradores, há também uma divisão entre os turnos de cada dia que podem fazer parte tanto do presente quanto do passado. Parece confuso, mas realmente é uma combinação peculiar e que dá muito certo. Posso dizer que consegui visualizar alguns contornos do desfecho que foi chocante por mostrar o quanto as pessoas podem nos enganar e nos manipular através dos nossos sentimentos. Em suma, é um livro que trata de ilusões sendo destruídas, de verdades ocultas, bem como, do quanto as pessoas a nossa volta exercem poder sobre nós.
Opnion: Tightly written and cleverly structured, ‘The Girl in the Train’ has all of the ingredients for a satisfying psychological thriller. The main narrative is told from the point of view of Rachel and is interlinked with other chapters told in the voices of Megan (aka “Jess”) and Anna. Rachel frequently lies and has alcoholic blackouts which means she has trouble piecing together the events which lead to Megan’s disappearance. However, she certainly isn’t the only flawed character. It seems that every major character in ‘The Girl on the Train’ cannot be trusted. The “leads” which I expected to go somewhere turned out not to go anywhere, so the final showdown was a real surprise.

Opiniao: "Orgulho e Preconceito" é uma trama extremamente peculiar e bem escrita, onde as relações familiares são fato para que tudo aconteça de forma com que Mr. Darcy (Aww Mr. Darcy <3) e Elizabeth venham a se encontrar durante boa parte da história. Esta interação também favorece o início do relacionamento de ambos, que apesar de começar de forma um tanto quanto negativa, aos poucos se torna uma relação admirável. Mas se engana quem acredita que esta história trata apenas de um romance recheado de drama e de amor, pois seguindo a visao paralela a essa, Austen nos leva também a refletir sobre os costumes de uma época extremamente machista e elitista que tem a mulher como um símbolo de perfeição.
Elizabeth que além de ser forte e idealista, sabe como ninguém expor seus pensamentos sobre essa sociedade que parece ser composta por injustiças e injustiçados, altruístas e egoístas, orgulhosos e preconceituosos que por costumes da época são separados por camadas sociais díspares, onde os valores são compatíveis com a riqueza e com o status social obtidos por cada um. Some of the best banter and verbal sparring can be found among its pages, and it lays claim to a host of characters you can't help but love from page one. Like all good literature, it does not reveal its secrets on first acquaintance, and the story only grows richer after several readings. Much of this can be credited to its heroine, Elizabeth, who brings vivacity and wit to each scene through her good humor and quick tongue.

Opiniao: O Projeto Rosie foi para mim uma boa surpresa. Apesar de ter uma história previsível, é de uma leitura deliciosa e envolvente. Don e’ um personagem muito querido e um verdadeiro computador! E gostei do modo como o personagem evolui e aprende diversas lições ao decorrer da trama. Depois que ele conhece Rosie ele começa a ver diversas coisas de uma perspectiva diferente, de forma fácil e sem ao menos perceber. Gostei da transformação que ela causa em Don, e até nela mesma. Rosie mostra como é bom se divertir, não ter tudo planejado sempre, e se arriscar. Como é bom realmente viver. O Projeto Rosie pode não ser o livro mais original do ano, mas proporciona uma leitura agradável, com uma história que se desenrola de uma maneira que parece um filme. Em diversos momentos me peguei rindo alto com as trapalhadas de Don. Muito divertido, bem narrado, com personagens interessantíssimos e uma trama gostosa cheia de licões Opinion: The romance here is adorable because Don isn't in tune to his feelings at all. He doesn't realise that he feels WHAT he feels and why he finds himself doing certain things instead of others.
This book is absolutely hilarious and I found myself laughing out loud more than once at the ridiculous scenarios that Don's "social incompetence" created.
The "wife project" Don embarks on is the perfect way to show how there really is no one person perfect for you. As well as really make Don evolve and mature as a person.
